23rd Skill Development Training (Tailoring) Convocation dt 20-2-2026
The
23rd Skill Development Training (Tailoring) Convocation, organized by
the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Koti Samithi, Hyderabad, was
conducted at the Sri Sathya Sai Skill Development Tailoring Centre, Osman
Gunj, Hyderabad. The training program, which commenced on 11 August 2025,
was successfully completed after 100 days of dedicated training.
The
event was graced by the Chief Guest, Smt. P. Sunanda, Joint Commissioner of
Income Tax, who distributed certificates of appreciation to the trainees
who successfully completed the course.
In
her inspiring address, Smt. P. Sunanda expressed her immense happiness in being
part of the convocation. She fondly recalled that she had also attended the inauguration
of the center on 5 December 2015, making the occasion especially meaningful
for her.
She
appreciated the trainees not only for completing their tailoring training but also
for actively participating in various service activities such as Ashritha
Kalpa Seva and Shivam Seva. She expressed particular joy on learning
that the students regularly take part in spiritual practices at the center,
including Tuesday bhajans and Saturday Hanuman Chalisa chanting,
which reflect the holistic values nurtured at the institution.
The
Chief Guest commended the efforts of the Convener and the Tailoring
Coach for creating an environment that combines skill development with
service and spiritual growth. She encouraged the trainees to utilize their
newly acquired skills with confidence, dedication, and a spirit of service to
society.
The
program concluded on a devotional note with Mangala Harathi offered to Swami
by Smt. P. Sunanda and Smt. K. Lakshmi Prasanna, marking the successful and
graceful completion of the convocation ceremony.
Finally, the Koti Samithi Convenor proposed a heartfelt vote of thanks to Swami, the Chief Guest, and everyone present, expressing gratitude for their support and participation in making the event a grand success.
